Girls Can Code was created to inspire and empower young girls to pursue programming and careers in STEM. As a programmer with over 20 years’ experience working with the US Navy, Marines, Department of Veterans Affairs, Higher Education, and in the medical industry, I noticed a common theme – a lack of diversity and minority representation. I hoped to bridge that gap by showing girls of all ages, ethnicities, and physical abilities using computers and technology. The coloring book is available to purchase on Amazon but at this time all proceeds have been used to give back to my community during youth STEM and public education events, but this is a downloaded printable PDF.
